04/15/2010 - Local Mexican Restaurants
Several weeks back and just recently, a question was posed on our social networking sites. With the many, many, local Mexican food restaurants located within Stockton and Lodi, what are some of the favorites?
To help people weed through the choices the results were this.
Casa Flores (marina location) seemed to be the favorite. Those following right behind and still popular were Nena's, Cancun, Viva Burrito, and Tepa Taqueria.
One of the features StocktonNightOut has is a reviews listing when you click on any restaurant. If you leave a review, it helps future people who are curious about a place, make their choice to visit a restaurant.
Several weeks ago after listening to positive reviews about Casa Flores, I decided to give it a try. I visited the location on Hammer Ln. What I experienced caused me to decide never to never return there again. Although my experience could hardly have been worse, people overwhelmingly enjoy the restaurant. I know of at least 7 Casa Flores restaurants. There are five in Stockton, 1 in Lodi, and at least 1 in Manteca. During the survey I tried to narrow down the Casa Flores people were most happy with, and it ended up being the location on Ben Holt.
I will probably give Casa Flores a try again, but I hold true to my earlier statement, I will not return to the Hammer Ln location. It is amazing how a server good or bad can impact a customers decision on how they feel about a business.
With over 50 options of where to dine for Mexican food in our local area, I hope this was some help in leading you to some of the more popular businesses that are out there. Please leave reviews for future searchers.
